Pretty accurate I think you’ll agree. CAMBODIA: It was worth the 4.30am wake up call to watch the sun rise over Angkor Wat. A must do! BALI: Beautiful dancer in the Barong dance performance in the Batubulan Village. NEW ZEALAND: Milford Sound – a fjord, not a sound ironically. Still pretty cool though. LAOS: There’s no better way to travel, than with friends in a tuk tuk. THAILAND: Pretty fountain in the Grand Palace Temple in Bangkok. Need one of these in our house. NEW ZEALAND: Hols having a ball doing the Franz Josef Ice Explorer hike. Bringing back bum bags. CAMBODIA: You can never get tired of sunsets here. VIETNAM: Floating Fishing Village in Halong Bay. The water is almost the same colour as the houses. NEW ZEALAND: Coastal walk to Red Rocks on the south side of Wellington. Walked for 3 hours, saw no seals. Not that we’re sore about that or anything. BALI: Getting ready for the Kecak & Fire Dance show at Uluwatu Temple. AUSTRALIA: The Maheno Shipwreck on Fraser Island. Hit by a cyclone in 1935. Pretty rusty these days. THAILAND: We agree! Doi Suthep Temple, Chiang Mai. THAILAND: Performer at the Colosseum Show in Pattaya. Definitely recommend a ticket for this! Entertainment galore. NEW ZEALAND: A Queenstown Fergburger – a MUST EAT! We ate 6 in 8 days. Disgustingly amazing. MALAYSIA: Hindu statues inside the Batu Caves. We love the colours! LAOS: The serene island of Don Det. Great for a quiet wander. NEW ZEALAND: Franz Josef Glacier. Loved getting our crampons on in this chill playground! NEW ZEALAND: Our feet dangling over Tolaga Bay Wharf – the longest concrete wharf in the Southern Hemisphere. SRI LANKA: We spotted this wild beauty just roaming around. No biggie. Apart from it was massive. NEW ZEALAND: Duckies at the Queenstown lake. Don’t think we’d ever get tired of this place. SINGAPORE: Orangutan family monkeying around at Singapore Zoo. You can eat your breakfast with these guys – pretty cool! AUSTRALIA: Look how cute Dingoes can be! When they’re not stealing your flip flops or your baby that is 😉 VIETNAM: A monkey eating bread on Monkey Island. Bonus points to whoever came up with that name, NEW ZEALAND: Hobbiton house on the set of the movie. Perfect size for us two midgets. CAMBODIA: Sunset on Otres Beach, Sihanoukville. Kept these quiet, didn’t you Cambodia! AUSTRALIA: Our absolute favourite sunset in St. Kilda, Melbourne. This one takes some beating. NEW ZEALAND: Stingray feeding in Gisborne. These guys are pretty silky. Especially when trying to hump you. NEW ZEALAND: Catching some air by Key Summit on the Routeburn track. One of the Great Walks – and great it was! LAOS: Local fisherman caught crabs (heehee) in Thakek. NEW ZEALAND: True dat. Some inspiration before our white water rafting experience. AUSTRALIA: The famous Bondi Beach – a great view to reward us from the Coogee to Bondi Coastal Cliff Walk. THAILAND: Gorgeous stone Buddha in Sukothai Historical Park, framed by pretty pink flowers. NEW ZEALAND: Hiking on the Routeburn Track. Naww, cute. THAILAND: Sunset with friends in Sukhothai. SINGAPORE: Awesome water and light show at Marina Bay Sands. Free every night!! AUSTRALIA: The first sunrise of 2015 in Dee Why, Sydney. AUSTRALIA: City sunset in Brunswick, Melbourne. Cuz we’re cool like that. VIETNAM: Ducklings galore! Didn’t quite fancy a dip… LAOS: Chasing the end of the rainbow in a tuk tuk. MALAYSIA: Smoochin’ in front of the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur. Probably illegal. AUSTRALIA: Sully from Monsters Inc. in Hosier Lane, Melbourne. Rawr. AUSTRALIA: Rooftop sunset in trendy Fitzroy, Melbourne. Yah yah yah, this is where the cool people hang. AUSTRALIA: Floating along the Whitsunday Islands in a catamaran at sunset. Pretty chill. NEW ZEALAND: Kayaking in Abel Tasman National Park. We’d just got to Adele Island. Much singing was had. AUSTRALIA: View of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, 10 minutes from our house. Pretty sweet. MALAYSIA: Tea Plantations in the Cameron Highlands. Being British, we like our tea. NEW ZEALAND: Huka Falls – 220,000 litres of water per second, some serious hydro power! VIETNAM: The only way to shop in Halong Bay. Tesco delivery ain’t got nothing on this guy! THAILAND: Loving the ornate staircase at Doi Suthep Temple. NEW ZEALAND: Sun over Stewart Island. Permanent population = 381 people. It’s pretty quiet. NEW ZEALAND: Seal colony in Kaikoura. Hundreds of these guys chilling on the rocks. VIETNAM: Buffalo chillaxing in Sapa. No cares in the world. LAOS: These bad boys took us down the Mekong to the Four Thousand Islands. Our first time on the brown river. AUSTRALIA: This is Nigel, a Maori Wrasse. He’s a big old boy! VIETNAM: Hoi An Thu Bon river – a cool place to chill by day or night. VIETNAM: Japanese Covered Bridge in Hoi An – dates back to the 1590s! People float their candles along the river with well wishes. NEW ZEALAND: Mount Ngauruhoe aka Mount DOOM! Intimidating sight on the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. NEW ZEALAND: If anyone has been to Rotorua, they will understand this stank. Sulphur from the geothermal pools apparently. Smells like farts to us. VIETNAM: Lanterns are everywhere in Hoi An, of every colour and design imaginable. THAILAND: Turquoise waters on the way to Maya Beach. The Beach beach! VIETNAM: Loving the houses here in Hoi An – such charm! AUSTRALIA: Lake Mackenzie on Fraser Island. You can clean your teeth with sand from this freshwater lake, it’s so darn fine. NEW ZEALAND: Paihia – Bay of Islands. Our first stop on our trip around New Zealand. THAILAND: Offerings at the Doi Suthep Temple in Chaing Mai. So much beauty in one place. THAILAND: It’s all about the Peace and Love! Bought these at the Phuket Night Market – bargain! NEW ZEALAND: Queenstown lake by day. Perfect place to paddle board/kayak, or as we did – eat a pie. SRI LANKA: Cool sign reminding us how far away we are from home. With beaches like this though, we ain’t complaining. SRI LANKA: Cool quote found at Adisham Monestary in Haputale. LAOS: Water Buffalo in the paddy fields on Don Det Island. Moo! (Do Water Buffalo moo?!) BORNEO: Our view from the top of Mount Kinabalu – Low’s Peak. It wasn’t very low at 13,435ft above sea level. Worth the sweat and the tears for this though! VIETNAM: Hilltribe momma on our trek in Sapa. Yes, she carried the baby the whole time, while we struggled carrying our water bottles. AUSTRALIA: Chilling in hammocks as the sun went down over Noosa. Rad. AUSTRALIA: You can’t go to Australia without snapping a Koala. This one’s just asking for a squeezing. AUSTRALIA: Sunrise at the beach on Fraser Island (The world’s largest sand island). Was worth dragging ourselves out of our tent at 5.30am. BORNEO: Malayan Tiger having a cool off. Don’t blame ya buddy. BALI: The Holy Spring – sacred water to purify the soul and mind at the Tampak Siring Temple, Ubud. AUSTRALIA: Lion licking his chops at our pasty asses in Australia Zoo. THAILAND: Pagoda in Sukhothai Historical Park. That tree looks pretty old. SINGAPORE: Colourful birdie in the Singapore Zoo. Shine bright little man. CAMBODIA: Face in the rock from the Bayon Temple at Angkor. Hello! SRI LANKA: Local market in Haputale which our kind friend Ali took us around, sampling all manner of weird and wonderful fruit and veg. AUSTRALIA: Swimming with turtles on the Great Barrier Reef in Cairns. Couldn’t have posed better! AUSTRALIA: Crikey mate! You won’t find us jumping on this guy’s back! Nice snap though – geddit! LAOS: Sunset over the paddy fields. NEW ZEALAND: This big old place makes you feel pretty small on the Tongariro Crossing. NEW ZEALAND: View on the way down from Mount Victoria, Wellington. Looks bendy as, bro. THAILAND: Safety first at Maya Beach – demonstrated beautifully by Hols. AUSTRALIA: View of Hill Inlet in the Whitsundays. Swirling patterns of sand and turquoise water make for some pretty awesome views. SRI LANKA: Sigiriya Rock Fortress. An amazing climb to the top. Just don’t do it in the heat of the day like us morons did. NEW ZEALAND: An alpine lake surrounded by mountains on the Routeburn Track. NEW ZEALAND: Sunset over Lake Aniwhenua after eating traditional Hangi food (cooked underground). Tasted as good as the view looked! AUSTRALIA: Hosier Lane in Melbourne is known for its cool graffiti. You get 10 cool points just by walking down it. MALAYSIA: Entrance to the Batu Caves. Broke some sweat climbing these, let me tell you.
